Satellite View of the threat to Mansfield

Comrades - here is an astronaut's eye view of the monster that is threatneing to devour the Mansfield battlefield - http://www.cwchaps.com/mansmap.JPG. Note how much of Phase 3 of the battle and the staging area for Bank's army has been destroyed. The mining company is attempting to buy more land closer to Phases 1 and 2 of the battlefield. I only pray to God they have not already dug up the remains of soldiers that never left that hallowed ground.

Please help us by joining the authentic battalion at the event on April 2-4 2004, and/or asking friends and family to donate whatever they can to help stop this by buying raffle tickets, joining Friends of Mansfield or donating to CWPT on behalf of Mansfield.

That is very depressing. To look at that and see what is happening from that view really makes you sad. I hope that more people will contribute some money and help us save this sacred land. :(

You cant see it in this picture, but on the end of the Confederate lines a large pond has been dug. Don, let me look at their map at the park. Makes me sick to think about it!

Its very depressing at night when all the ambient noise from the town and roads are gone, you can hear all the machinery from the lignite mine chew up more and more battlefield. We need any and all the help that we can get to save this land from total destruction. :(
