Is this a new feature or am I the only one who can't post images?

Well lets see, first make sure you are in the proper 'mode'.

If you simply hit 'quick reply' the attachment option will not come up.

If you hit 'go advanced' the 'manage attachments' options will come up.

And then you can post images--assuming of course, that you've been around here long enough to have that privledge, which I would think would certainly be the case for Mr. Landrum, but may be limited for users who have not been on board very long.

Well actually, I posted some photos not more than a few weeks ago without issue. My problem is that when I go to Manage attachments, select the photos then hit "upload" ....it uploads alright..... forever, never finishes. At first, I thought it was a server problem but all else is OK. Then when I noticed Patrick Landrum having the same issue I thought twice. Any other ideas? Ken R Knopp

That's interesting - it's certainly not intentional. I don't have an answer right away but I might suggest attempting to upload in a different browser and see if you still have the same trouble.

I've had the same experience as Mr. Knopp. I've even tried changing the file size, type etc etc. I haven't posted too many images lately, but the last few I have I had difficulty. I finally got them uploaded somehow....but it took alot of work and time.

Mathew, can you define "alot of work and time". I am getting NOWHERE! I had some nice images and info I wanted to post but after about half a dozen attempts I am about to give it up. Anyone got any ideas? Ken R Knopp

I'm sorry you're all having trouble with the image attachments. I'm at a convention this week without much computer time. I'll try to take a look at this over the weekend.

Hi Ken,
To be honest...I don't know what I did. I do know it took me an hour of work or so to accomplish it. I just kept trying until I achieved success...somehow!
