New Links! Two Articles by Tom Williams

Tom Williams has written two new articles which we have added to our LINKS pages!

One article, entitled "Tempest Along the Turnpike" will be of interest to those portraying Confederates at next weekend's "Maryland my Maryland" event. It discusses the condition and state of supply of CS forces during the campaign and how that information could be used to develop your impression.

The other article describes the process for commissioning officers in the Confederacy. Tom provides a well-researched description of the process and includes examples of original documents.
