Shows you how much profit there is in those slot machines. $50m fee for the license, that's a lot of quarters.

    ADVANCE ON FORT HENRY
    Dover, Tennessee
    February 3-5, 2017

This event will recreate, on the 155th Anniversary of the surrender of Fort Henry, the advance on Fort Henry by the 31st Illinois Infantry Regiment. Travelling through remote and non-modernized period roads, the 31st Illinois will advance along a large portion of one of the approximately six mile original routes from Bailey’s Ferry and Camp Halleck, the original Federal staging area, to Fort Henry. This advance will be contested by the patrols and pickets of the 4th Mississippi Infantry Regiment. After completion of the march towards the fort, the 31st Illinois will occupy the captured campsites of the Fort Henry garrison.

    FORT BLAKELEY
    Fort Blakeley, Alabama
    March 31 - April 2, 2017

Some history from the Civil War Trust: "E.R.S. Canby’s forces, the XVI and XIII corps, moved along the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, forcing the Confederates back into their defenses. Union forces then concentrated on Spanish Fort and Fort Blakeley. By April 1, Union forces had enveloped Spanish Fort, thereby releasing more troops to focus on Fort Blakeley. Brig. Gen. St. John R. Liddell, with about 4,000 men, held out against the much larger Union force until Spanish Fort fell on April 8, allowing Canby to concentrate 16,000 men for the attack on April 9. Sheer numbers breached the Confederate earthworks compelling the Confederates to capitulate. The siege and capture of Fort Blakeley was basically the last combined-force battle of the war."

    THE BATTLE OF WAUHATCHIE
    Knoxville, Tennessee
    October 27-29, 2017

Forty Rounds Events proudly announces our next adventure. The Battle of Wauhatchie, TN. Part of the opening phases of the Lookout Mountain campaign in October of 1863, the battle pitted Hooker's Corps against Longstreet's at the base of Lookout Mountain. The battle was fought by Eastern troops who had been sent to the Western Theater. This battle is unique in that it was fought entirely at night, one of the rare few deliberately conducted night attacks of the war. We will recreate this battle as an EBUFU event; no spectators, no external distractions.
