    $2,550.0 !!

The person would have had to been a braile-reading bidder.

The starting bid was $98.38 (wierd) and when I started watching it was around $125.00. I thought "That is something I'd like to have. I'll keep a watch on it."

Let's just say the bidding on this crock closed just a wee bit out of my price range. Are you ready for thi? Here it comes....

    $2,550.00 (plus shipping)!

At least we have a photo of it here...and maybe we can find a potter to make us a few at conciderably less that $2,500.00!

    Enjoy!

Masonic and Oddfellows symbols on CDV backmark. Based on style of clothes in image, from 1860s. Every time I attempt to add the photo, the website crashes, so here is a link to the image on Pinterest

Yes... the three links are peculiar to the Oddfellows.

    Re: Masonic Material Culture

I am hoping to find more info on this apron that I recently ran across. It appears to be hand painted leather (lamb skin maybe) with hand stitched ribbon on the flap border and metallic lace around the outside edge. It appears to be mid- to late- 1800's, maybe turn-of-the-century. As it is framed, I am unable to see the back to see if it is marked at all. Some searching online has informed me that it is a Royal Arch apron, however the handfast on the flap at first led me to believe it may have IOOF influences. I am just hoping that someone who is an experienced collector may have more info for me. I myself am not a Mason, though my father is. I have always been interested in historical Masonic items, though I am not really a collector. Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

Brothers, check out this item on eBay! Very cool mid-1850s pic. Check out the fancy detailing on the apron.
