New Items at Orchard Hill Sutlery

Greetings all, just a quick announcement to let you all know of a few new items we have available. We are extremely excited to tell you that we now offer an Officers Blanket Carriage. These are being custom made for us by Cary Davisson and are just incredible. Period finished, hand sewn with pine tar pitch and rosin coated cotton linen thread, at 10 stitches per inch. Japanned roller buckles and hardware, maker stamped, these are a great addition to your high quality officer impression. We also offer cartridge boxes and slings, bayonet scabbards, musket slings, canteen slings, waist belts and more all hand made by Cary. Some other new items include civilian buckle shoes by Tom Mattimore, hand made web suspenders by Doug Potter, and we'll soon be featuring hand sewn issue drawers by Doug as well. Just the thing for us up here in the northeast, we have hand knitted 100% wool socks as well as hand knitted 100% wool "trigger finger" or also called "shooter's" mittens. 100% hand knitted wool scarves are on the way too. More great items include hand finished 100% cotton civilian shirts, and domet flannel Federal issue shirts by Todd Morris. "Hadden, Porter & Booth" contractor stamped spout canteens made for us exclusively by George MacGillis are here too. I invite you all to stop by our site and check these items out and more, at http://www.orchardhillsutlery.com.

Thanks for all of your interest and your continued support!

Best Regards & Wishing you all a Happy Holiday
