    Question Upper Mississippi Mercantile

Over the years I have bought what I believe are several first rate items from this vendor. Namely excellent leathers, a gum blanket that is still in excellent shape after three years of being beaten & abused and I'm told is made w/ the correct grommets etc. I have also purchased various uniform items that I believe are pretty good, while not perfect they are definetly good enough to pass muster. They are defienetly of a far higher quality than those to be found at sutlers at, what I would term, mainstream events. I have always believed them to be on Par w/ Jarnagin... am I wrong?

However, I have recently heard several disparaging remarks about their authenticity. Can anyone verify or dispose of my worries.

    Re: Upper Mississippi Mercantile

You have a good question there. I've been happy in the past with a cap box from them, but that is the only leather gear I have from them. The item was hand sewn but that isn't the only thing that makes a piece correct. Can anyone shed some light please?
