Red face WTS or WTT The CW Journals of John Mead Gould

    Hello,
I'm selling a copy of the Civil War Journals of John Mead Gould. I'd like $50 p.p. or a used 2 rivet bayonet scabbard, made by a reputable maker. The book is nearly new, though it has a bit of fading on the spine, as it was on the shelf of the shop I purchased it at for too long.
    Thanks.
    Yours, etc.,

"One of the liveliest rows I had while in the service was with the quartermaster for filling a requisition that I made for shoes for my company, on the theory that no shoe was too large for a Negro, and he gave me all 10's and upwards. When I returned the shoes, informing him that my soldiers did not wear pontoons, he insisted that I should take them and issue them to my company anyway. Well, I didn't do it: consequently the row."

Ok, how about $35 postage paid? That's as low as the price will go.

Let's see how much lower this can go. How about $30 postage paid? The book is nearly new, just I don't need it as I was just given another copy that is in worse shape. I bought it for $50 several years ago. Has the price of the book gone down that much in several years or is there not much interest in the book? Alright, this is as low as this will go until I lower the price even lower in a day.
