    Big Black River Station

Very cool pic of the area of Big Black River Station near Vicksburg. It has been enhanced where a train can be seen along with soldiers on top of rail cars and others sitting beside a house.

    Boozie,

Cool pictures. I particularly like the final one with the photographer’s wagon!

On the blown-up image of the engine, the fellow standing to the extreme left of the smoke stack, is he holding/playing a banjo? Sure looks like a banjo handle to me.

    Thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing, looks like a banjo neck. I was hoping Carl would weigh in on it.
