I have been looking for some information, lyrics (if applicable), dates, anything on the following two songs:

Sitting in a Stern of a Boat - I heard this song on the Ken Burn's Lewis & Clark Soundtrack.

Waiting for the Federals - This song is on the 2nd S.C. String Band's Dulcem Melodies.

Anything about these songs is greatly appreciated!
