    Thanks for the information guys, I realize that original blankets are various sizes and weights, I have always looked at my gear as not only being correct but actually functional I usually carry two blankets with me especially for cold events, having been an infantrymen in the real army I am not afraid of a heavy ruck, just as long as it is not filled with a bunch of crap I dont need. Anyway sounds like this blanket is a good choice, I will keep my eyes out for one.
