Period Axe
Friends,
I have a restored period axe for sale. The head matches the style of original US-issue axes (per excavated originals), and is clean and sharp. The handle is new, matches originals (per photos), and is finished with boiled linseed oil. There is a very small chip out of the edge of the axe edge, but is still completely fine to use. Also, the head sits about 1/8" above the end of the handle at the top but is seated as far as it will go.
