Here are some of mine. Most have been seen here before. I love these photos from a kit perspective & the fact that two of them were obviously taken in the field (both in prison actually). Uniforms are plain and lack the embellishment of the often encountered early war studio images. Post up your favorites...

Has the documentation connecting the 1st image you posted to the 20th Tennessee ever come up? It is one of my favorites for sure.
Not that I know of. Some speculation about them having just been captured on Missionary Ridge existed at the time the photo was "discovered". Apparently the house the photo was found in had some other items linked to the 20th TN & so the connection was drawn. At this point my best info on this photo is 2 parts rumor mixed w/ 3 parts conjecture.
The other reason I love these images is that they demonstrate a very UNIFORM appearance among those pictured. One can imagine that the uniformity did not stop with the fellows pictured and that at least within their respective companies their "look" was commonplace. Definitely the final frontier when it comes to recreating C.S. troops IMHO...
