Looking for a unit in Eastern North Carolina

I am in the process of getting back in the hobby, and I am looking for a unit based in Eastern North Carolina. Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. The reason I am looking where I am is that I attend East Carolina University and will probably live in this portion of the state when I graduate. I am ready to get back into the ranks and I am searching for a good unit to get back with.

I can recommend the North State Rifles. We are a campaign unit that replicates the North Carolina Confederate soldier. We pick a unit that was actually present at the time frame on the time line of the event we attend. We are that unit. We research them and tweak our impressions to best exemplify what those particular soldiers wore, carried, ate, etc. We also have several members around you. In fact, we have members from all across the state and even in South Carolina and Virginia.
