Actually Dale, it's registration time. Show time is March 30, 2012.

The question is will those that are all excited today remember to get physically and mentally prepared, make their plans, travel and come ready to participate as Civil War Soldiers.

Or will they be scared by the threat of rain, snow, wind, heat or cold and choose to give up...

I have already started my "five miles a day or bust" program. This last January saw me spending the night with three pards in a mortar pit with wind, snow, 17 F temps and one blanket a piece. Surely Shiloh won't be THAT rough.

Even if the weather is "bad" all I'll be able to think about is that 150 years ago some guy huddled underneath a wool blanket and didn't sleep much either, except he was in it for real and I was just doing it for the weekend.
