Respectfully, at Wilson's Creek we did four different battle scenarios. I'm sure the Fed leadership will want our battalion heavily involved, as I can safely say we will be the largest one Crowder has. You're correct, it's the job of the NCO's to slow down the rate of fire. But as you've also stated we won't be springing rammers, and it's easy to get caught up in the moment when you're standing there getting hammered by triple volleys from multiple reb battalions, which I am sure will be the case. You see, usually at 1st Fed Div events we have to stand fast, while the rebs rotate different battalions against us. This is because we are usually outnumbered at least two to one. With a 400 man battlion, we'll be up against two or three of their battalions at a shot, I'm sure of it. And they will be wanting their trigger time for sure.

Nonetheless, Matt answered my question, and personally I will attempt to stage rounds in or near the Saturday camp in case I run low for the Sunday morning battle. I just don't want to be that guy begging rounds off someone else.

Upon arrival in Federal parking, go to our check in at the 4' X 8' sign that says 15/16 iowa Bus Stop along Joe Dillon Road. Once you check in, you'll likely be sent to our Saturday camp 800 yards away. You can drop rounds in a tent in your company street.
