    The Landing at Savannah...

This period woodcut image is very similar to our landing with a big white mansion atop a hill and an angled road sloping to the river's edge. Nice image of a two deck, double stack, stern wheeler like we'll be on and a company arriving at the shore. The original Cherry Mansion is about 800 yards north of our landing.CherryMansion.jpg
