Starbuck CS Kepi and Don Smith Sharps infantry/cavalry cartridge box

Greg Starbuck kepi made from the "Inman" (of Cold Mountain fame) jean, with original matching flower buttons and a painted cloth chinstrap. Dirty, but in very sound condition. The chinstrap is warped but could probably be straightened back out. Size 24 3/4". $75 shipping included.

Don Smith made Sharps cartridge box in solid used condition. It's got scuffs and some nicks but very usable. It has mint original roller buckles and includes both modern made tins. According to Don, this is the only example he has made of this box. Information from Don Smith regarding the box is below. $125 including shipping.

USCB7 US Carbine box for the Sharps Carbine, Pre/Early War. (1855-65)
A new pattern I am offering. The sharps box is one of the most unique
cartridge boxes used by the cavalry& Infantry during the early part of the
War. Completely hand sewn, has Belt loops and Sling Loops, Comes with
    tins…$180.00"

This box was of a pattern developed outside of the US Ordinace Dept. It was
accepted by Various States for their Vols that were outfitted with the
Sharos Rifle. The 1st Us Sharp Shooters used this pattern of box as other
units outfitted with the Sharps Inf Rifle.
