Gents,
I made most of this stuff over the years for myself. I've decided that I no longer need a blinding array of C.S. impressions & will be down sizing over the coming weeks. I'm proud of my efforts on these garments and hope they are well used in the future by whoever ends up with them. It's all produced with tight hand topstitching and tidy buttonholes, some of it completely hand sewn.
1)Richmond Depot Type III- Made from County Cloth's K1 from about 2005-'06. I mention this because apparently recent runs of K-1 have had an overwhelming grey-ness to them. This is definitely blue -grey.8 button front, Tart Script I's, all visible stitching by hand... etc. Osnaburg is heavy without any of the modern brown flecks encountered in the cheap stuff. Very lightly used. No damage. Chest size 40. $175 shipped
2)RDII with blue epaulette piping. Based loosely on the Blair Royal jacket, I made this jacket from County Cloth jean and Wambaugh's heavy osnaburg. A classic type II with piped epaulettes, belt loops and a 9 button front. All visible stitching by hand. Tightly back stitched topstitching in unbleached thread. Lightly used with no damage. I pulled a couple of the u.s. general service eagle buttons off for a "lost buttons veteran look", but will gladly sew them back on. I promise that you won't be disappointed. Chest size 40. $170 shipped
3) Charlie Childs made Columbus Depot "Weller" jacket. #9 jean, 6 button front, dark blue wool cuffs & collar. What you would expect from one of the masters. I got this jacket in trade & it looks like it's been to a few events. No damage at all, just a few mud stains. Chest size 42. $200 shipped
4)Blue-Grey Kersey Richmond Depot trousers - Made from County Cloth's K1 from about 2005-'06. I mention this because apparently recent runs of K-1 have had an overwhelming grey-ness to them. These are definitely blue -grey. All visible stitching by hand, black japanned buttons. Very lightly used. No damage. 33 waist x 32 inseam. $160 shipped
5)William Hightower inspired C.S. trousers - Made from County Cloth's #12 jean with a black sateen stripe down the leg, antique bone buttons. Light use, no damage. 33 waist x 32 inseam. $160 Shipped
6) Blue stripped C.S. "issue" shirt. Based off of CC's Louisiana shirt pattern. All visible stitching by hand, 4 hole milk glass buttons. Chest size 40. $50 shipped
7) Red check band collared civilian shirt. Mostly hand sewn, with a slight "french" cut to the sides. 1 chest pocket, 4 hole milk glass buttons. Chest size 38. $50 shipped
