    Claening House...books now...more later?

Trying to get rid of clutter and extras. So here is a start with books, some actualy new (picked up cheap at bookstores on clearance) or like new (I take GOOD care of my books):

Texas & New Mexico on the Eve of the Civil War by Jerry Thompson: This is the 1859 through 1861 Inspections NM and Tex with biographical info on Mansfield and Johnston. NEW. $16.00

Cry Comanche by Col. Harold Simpson: Best book ever written on the 2d Cavalry in Texas 1855-1861. Names like R E Lee, A S Johnston, E K Smith, J B Hood, Hardee, Van Dorn, and Stoneman! NEW (in shrinkwrap) $20.00

Don Troiani's Soldiers in America 1754-1865 by Troiani (duh). More then 50% is ACW with a good amount of Rev War and a smattering of 1812, Mex-War, and others. NEW $25.00

Journey To Pleasent Hill Letters of Cpt. Elijah Petty, Walker's Texas Div. Says it all. Autographed by editors and artist. LIKE NEW $50.00 SOLD pending payment.

Uniforms of the Civil War by Robin Smith and Ron Field. This is the two Brassy ACW books rolled into one. Nice book with kewl pics. LIKE NEW $25.00

Echos of Glory Time Life Books. Full the volume set (softcover) in box. We all know the quality of this series! Box is a bit beat up but books are NEW! $20.00

The Texans Time Life Books "The Old West"...probably the hardest book of the series to find. Texas Rev and more. LIKE NEW $10.00

Brassy's History of Uniforms: Mexican American War Ron Field. BEST BOOK ON THE SUBJECT TO DATE! NEW. $20.00

So far that is a start. All books will go media mail and unisured unless you want more reliable and secure shipping. You pay postage so I'll do what you want! Its the same trip to the PO either way! Tell your friends. Will add stuff as I can.

    Sold!

OK! the two books above are sold pending confirmation and payments.

    Adding:

Uniforms of the American Civil War by Haythornthwaite. Color plate book from 1975 (1986 edition). Blanford Color Series. This is a neat little book...but I WOULD NOT use it as the basis of ANY impression! Very-Good to Excellent. $7.50

Uniforms of Waterloo basically same info as above. Neat book if your interested in that topic. Like New $7.50

Also...would like to apologize for my dyslexia...noted quite a few letters switched in the post or left out. Sorry as I know it looks poorly to many readers!
