    Great Fireman Image

Great tinted image of a fireman:

Too bad the seller is totally off his rocker when it comes to his asking price....

    Mark-

Actually Dags are in a class unto themselves apart from ambrotypes, salt prints, CDVs, etc. They do fetch some unreal prices (to you and me, to others chump change). I think a recent auction of an outdoor dag of San Fran ca. 1850 went for $40,000.

Dags are more accepted as an art form and are highly prized by the art world, hence the high prices. You might as well get used to it.
