Original US M1855 Angular Bayonet, slight cant
We purchased a small collection of repro guns and original bayonets and will try them on the AC before taking them to a show. Please email directly if interested: foragecaps@earthlink.net
This bayonet is complete with locking ring, and marked US. Finish is a spotty gray brown with no pitting or damage. The blade is canted perhaps one half inch from parallel with the socket. Why use a crummy repro when the original is not much more? $100 plus $7 shipping. Stephen Osman
