National Public Lands Day 2006

Fortress Rosecrans and Lytle Creek Greenway

WHAT: Exotic plant removal along Lytle Creek of Fortress Rosecrans and at Murfreesboro Greenway. Planting of warm sesoned native grasses in the landscape beds of Fortress Rosecrans. Trash pick-up along Lytle Creek, the greenway and around Fortress Rosecrans. *Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, sturdy work boots and a tough pair of work gloves.

Lunch will be provided at 12:30 pm.

WHEN: September 30, 2006 (8:30 am -12:30 pm) - Registration will begin at 8 am

Rain date: October 7, 2006

WHERE: Fortress Rosecrans/ Murfreesboro Greenway, meet at the pavilion #2 on Overall Street for registration.
