Revolver ??
hey kids, just picked up a cheapo repop percussion revolver today for poops and giggles. the guy at the store couldn't tell me anymore than what was printed on the gun and I'm an amateur so...
It says "Richland Arms Company" on the top of the barrell and ".36 New Model Navy" on the side. Made in our beloved Italy of course. What is this a repop of? Any owner's manuals or instructions on taking it apart and cleaning it? Guns scare me later, thanks, -Brian Kaschyk GH Thomas' Invincibles/ Shanty Boys Mess, MI Last edited by kasch; 12-13-2003 at 10:17 AM. |

Re: Revolver ??
hey kasch
if the revolver you have is .36 caliber and looks like a slightly smaller version of the 1860 army but with navy grips you have an 1861 new model navy"colt" or if it looks like an 1858 new model army you have a "remington" new model navy , and with it being stamped richland you have a fairly early repop-Drew |
