  • June Update of Rifles and Muskets

    1. Harpers Ferry 1832 Dated Hall Rifle:
This rifle will shoot well, but we don't really know if it has been fired since it was altered to percussion for the Federal government. Sims a wonderful piece that looks brand new from the day it was altered to percussion. $3725 shipped

    2. m1861 Springfield:
With original 1861 dated Springfield lockplate and most (if not all) internals, Dunlap stock, and Bob Hoyt barrel. This is a shooter if there ever was one, and is just missing the SAC card for those of you looking to jump into the Traditional Matches this fall! The piece includes a brass ramrod, rear peep sight, and high front sight. With some slight modifications, this would serve the role of competitive shooter, hunter, and living historian who wants this to serve multiple roles. $900 shipped

    3. Potsdam Musket:
Most of these are found today in horrendous condition; cut-down, rusted, or downright awful. This one would not only be a good collector piece, but it would also be a great Potsdam for someone looking for a very common Western Federal musket. In .72 caliber, this would also send a lot of bird-shot this fall. $750 shipped

    4. m1817 Common Rifle with New Jersey Surcharge:
This rifle has a pristine bore, crisp markings, and expertly performed flintlock reconversion from a drum bolster (we believe). The browning may not be original to the gun, but we can not say with certainty. Either way, this rifle would sit well on the display rack for being one of the very first m1817 Common Rifles produced by John Deringer for his 1817 contract. For someone not willing to shoot an $8,000-9,000 original, this one would allow you to shoot it, bring to the field, or simply sit on the mantle. It's a tremendously handsome piece. $2,500 shipped

    5. Musket Sizing Blocks:
We still have a few available from our first and probably only run! These will help figure out what threads your rifles and loose cones are. $12 shipped
Layaway is available, and feel free to contact us on our website, through Facebook, or through PM!
