  • "Hold My Horse" Keeps Giving to Preservation Efforts

Sunday is always a good day to say thanks! Today, we are thankful because we are again able to help two historic charities! We have received our next payment from sales and rental of "Hold My Horse!" Thanks to all of you who have checked out the trailer and then rented or purchased a copy (hint, purchasing gives you access to two commentaries as well). This will be the fourth check we've given to each of the two charities.

When we began shooting the project, we announced that all profits, after expenses, would be split between Historic Fort Wayne, Detroit (where Richardson entered service) and Save Historic Antietam Foundation (where his service ended when he was mortally wounded). We decided not to wait until all expenses were paid and have donated 30% of gross receipts from the start instead.

Looking for something to watch in this quarantine time? Want good history, good story and good material culture all at once? Check this out. Watch the trailer for free and then decide if it's for you.

Thanks and enjoy! There are more of these to come.
