  • NEW!! To the Hobby by Paul Muller......repro "Star" stirrups!!

Hey! NEW from Paul Muller....Reproduction STAR STIRRUPS just like the pre-war originals. These stirrups are known to have been dug in CW sites. I once had one excavated from a camp in north Mississippi. It is believed they were used by Texas and perhaps Mississippi troops as the "star" was an early state symbol for both. Mississippi's first flag had a large blue star in its center. Of course, we all know that Texas is the Lone Star State.

These reproductions are made of iron just like the originals and with an extra large width in the tread (five inches) perfect for a modern boot.

COST: ONLY $90 a pair!! plus shipping

NOTE: Paul is a very talented blacksmith. He makes alot of products for my web site including a variety of hand forged bits (www.confederatesaddles.com). He can also make stirrups for other state symbols, abbreviations. Other period stirrups have been found with a "TENN", "GEO", "N CAR" and "VA" for other southern states. See my book for details.

I am handling this item for Paul as I do many of his products (see them on my web site) but all requests or orders should be made directly to Paul Muller at cav.paul.muller@gmail.com
