This reproduction of the Confederate copy of the British Enfield carbine features a one-piece European walnut fullstock, 35" long with satin oil finish, 2" drop and 14" trigger pull. Its browned barrel is .58 caliber, 24" long, round tapered 1 1/8" at breech to 13/16" at muzzle. Button rifled .006" deep, 1-48" twist, 5 lands measure .577" and 5 grooves measure .589". Front sight is 3/8" dovetail base with steel blade, rear sight is .325" dovetail base, open steel. Brass furniture, color casehardened lock marked "Cook & Brother, N.O.,1861" forward of the hammer w/ Confederate stars and bars stamped on the tail. Single trigger, two barrel bands -- screw type, sling swivels. Steel ramrod. Made by Armi San Paolo in 1976
