With the onset of COVID-19, we finally have time and decided to go through the living history uniforms at Vicksburg National Military Park to see what is there. Over the years we have had different individuals buying living history items, some who strove for authenticity and some who didn't know their you know what from their elbow.
Having been a member of the AC forums for years, I figured I would bring the uniforms onto this forum and allow y'all to take a look and them, critique the hell outta them, and get some laughs as well. All in the name of the CORONA VIRUS Delirium! We want our kits be authentic and are looking at creative ways to take some of what we have and alter it. Anything ridiculous will be donated to local schools and theaters in the area.
First up, we have a size 54 C&D Jarnagin Artillery Shell Jacket. This thing is gigantic.
Then another size 54 officers private purchase fatigue blouse with oval shoulder boards.
Appreciate it everyone's insight/help and there will be many more posts to follow this.
