    While I am beating to death thoughts on the Enfield with my current obsession with them, here are a few very curious articles I came across. I hadn't seen them here yet, so my apology if this is a redundant post or if they are common knowlege here. They prove insightful reading. Though they are not specific to the American experience with the rifled-musket, it does give some perspective to the era. And the production article is interesting, especially the aspects of browning and quality inspection. Granted, these might not apply to all the myriad of contractors exporting them to North America during the war...
