    Re: shotgun start

In reference to shotgun cartridges, .69 buck and ball were also utilized and would be correct. Dan also has the stamp for shotgun cartridges as well.

I don't think that Dan is gonna be rolling any rounds after this weekend - he'll be in Marine Corps OCS...

          Guys,
I have been experimenting with the labels. I found this label in EOG, Confederate and managed to clean it up a little. Hopefully it will come out okay. One is the original scan and the other one I darken the letters up to read a letter better. I am sure there are a few folks that are a little more computer savy and can make it better.

              Hey gents,
              Check this out.

Bunch of ammo wrappers of different sorts; including shot gun ammo fully wrapped from the Augusta Arsenal and dated 1862. You can double click the photo to get a better look.

Let me work on this one. I am hoping to post some stuff on pistol ammo, wrappings, and labels pretty soon.

Here is a question with regards to shotgun blanks. How many grains of powder are you using for your blanks?

                      Paul's wife, Cyndi, here.

I created the labels using MS Word using fonts as close to the originals as I could. I'm not happy with them, but they make Paul happy and that's what counts in my book! :D

                          Re: shotgun start

I worked these up some years back, I make up blanks, wrap em up in brown color paper, then print off the labels on recycled newsprint.

                          Original pictured.

Folk are welcome to use as needed, or improve them as needed.
