  • Vicksburg February 2010 Living History

Just to get a clean thread and bump some info to the top.

The website for the event is now live and available at:

This information pertains to the military portion of the event. The cut off for the event is 65 registered participants at this point, so all of the "Landrum I'm there" posts don't mean squat until the form is in my hands.

As always- the money remaining will be used to purchase quality gear for the Living History program at Vicksburg. Before the event there will be a post in the WTB section asking for donations and or a list of needed items. Help Vicksburg continue to upgrade!

Please also be advised- this is a "flat haversack" event.

Registration has already hit 25. If you plan on coming, better send it in.

Vicksburg Dave owes me a tour.... so I would dig (pun intended) some Vicksburg LH action. Will you have a schedule with locations (like has been done at Chickamuaga NMP) so it is easy to find y'all.

Should have it slated out with the NPS early on.

Landrum, if you haven't already left, I'm coming in around 5:30ish on Friday. Where are you guys gonna be? What do you mean you have it slated out with the NPS?

              Brian,
There was an email sent out about this on Monday. If you are arriving before the gates close (usually 5) then the registration area is back by the Louisiana Monument.

If it is 530 until midnight, then there will be some folks in the Visitor Center Parking lot running a table (or tailgate) and point you in the right direction. As far as the slated out comment, it really doesn't apply to you.
