  • Company C Forming for the 121st New York Volunteers

    Hi gents,

With a ton of events during this time we are trying to do our best to put together a respectable crew for Company C comprised of ONV gents and comrades, If you are interested in coming out please feel free to join us. As Ivan knows I wish I could make Bentonville but other duties and a son's birthday will not allow. So for gents that could do both, what a great way to close out the 150th. And if you are like me and making a big trip out east you might want to do some touring at Appomattox and then join another good effort at the Breakout Event listed on this forum.

Thanks comrades - hope to see you in March. And yes Will I will send in my registration this week.:)

      Just an update if we can have enough interest in forming a company Ivan has agreed to lead our company. I also have good interest with some other great comrades. Hope to see you join us at Sailor's Creek;

Our numbers are growing. The rumors of a dearth of Federals are greatly exaggerated. We are forming a Legion. Who will join us?

If you are looking for a home, Greg Swank and his pards will have a great Company. You have options and for those that are going to make a week of it after Bentonville, I will be happy to continue serving with you as we close out the 150th.

Numbers are great, but quality is what matters in the units we raise. We have the luxury of having both due to the caliber of people with whom we serve.

Hope that you will consider the 121st NY if you can make it.

I'm so glad someone else is out there dispelling the myths about this event. The event is nearing (approx. 7 weeks), the event has a website (http://www.150thsailorscreek.com/), the event will be located on ORIGINAL GROUND W/ OPPOSING FIELDS OF FIRE, the event is CAMPAIGN ONLY.

This event is shaping up to be a real killer, and not one to be missed!

Re: Company C Forming for the 121st New York Volunteers

Just following up on where we are in Company C we have a solid crew of 15 guys currently planning on coming out.

At this time we have set up the following leadership positions in the company. More will be set once registrations come in.

            Captain - Ivan Ingraham

            Lieutenant - Chris Semancik

Sergeants - Jeff Johannes & Tom Klas

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know. We have a good size group coming from Wisconsin and I know Jeff and Ivan have some pards lining up too.

If you are not walking for Bentonville preparations and plan to come out, please start getting some miles under your feet.

            Thanks,

            Tom
