    "Foraged Items"
    Gentlemen:
Per the Adjutant's Orders, it is strongly advised that you show up with full bellies Thursday and food in your haversacks. Per history, the 6th Corps outran their wagons and were required to forage to supplement. Our speed in pursuit of the end prevents us from knowing when those wagons will catch up, so be prepared.
As far as historical references to what the men ate, one source said that the men found more meat than they could eat. The part of Virginia that they were in was still relatively untouched and so offered some options to hold them over until re-supplied.
Of course, keep your food selections period. Think seasonally (Early spring). Throw out any questions if you have them.
Next post will cover directions, arrival and set up Thursday.

To add come with a full canteen Thursday. We will be taken are of but since we are in a remote location it is best to not tax the water source with that first fill.

Re: 150th Sailors Creek - 121st NY Orders Thread

To point out you go to the main event site first. This is where you should go to get checked in, changed and then carpool over to the Thursday camp site (after 4pm) to be dropped off. The driver can then get a ride back there after parking at the below location on the map.

Thursday Address: 8501 S Genito Rd, Deatonsville VA

Warning: The map in the orders shows the property farther north on 616 then it is. This address does funny things when put into map programs. Showing it north and south of where it is depending on the program. The property is on 616 (same rd as Genito) north of Deatonsville.
