Registration is $30 and covers Food Rations and access to plantation amenities.

Since Picket Post is over we are staring to push the registration for the Federal Contigent for the Morning Sun event.

Established organization and goals for the event will be to form two 35 man companies under the following cadre leadership:

The two company commands have been pre established, please specify A or B when registering.

    Major: Jonathan Siltman

    SgtMaj: Frank Siltman

Captain, Co. A: Mark Vlahos, 24th Missouri

Captain, Co. B: Phillip Jenkins, McCooks Brigade

    Color Sgt: Erik Creekmore

    Prin. Musician: Dustin Darby

This Batallion will highlight experienced leadership, campaign-style camping, a military atmosphere, and a semi-immersive experience. Participants are expected to display proper military bearing and should have ample opportunity to participate in the first person throughout the event. Participants should also expect the following traditional EBUFU activities: guard duty, fatigue duty, and drill. Be prepared to skirmish in battle, sleep on arms, advance pickets, and perhaps even another surprise or two, scenario permitting. The company camp will be run in strict military fashion and remain free of any modern talk and intrusions. Rations may be issued at the brigade, battalion, or company level, and is as of yet undetermined.

I unfortunately can't make this, but I will offer an endorsement.

The men of the 24th Missouri are a class act.

Go if you can, you will not be disappointed.
