  • Coordinating Instructions

Starting this thread separately from the many others we have to provide information to participants for location, arrival and check-in instructions, etc.

Keeping the location close-hold, and you will be provided information on that as we get closer to the event.

If you are flying, you can either fly into Paducah, KY, or Nashville, TN. Both will work for getting to the site in about 1.5 to 2 hours.

I am told Louisville, KY, and Evansville, IN, might also be options. Louisville is appx 3 hours from the site, and Evansville is appx 2 or 2.5 hours. Evansville appears to have flights from Charlotte, Chicago, Atlanta, and Detroit (among others). Paducah flights all go to Chicago which may be limiting. Nashville is likely the best option though.

Fitness. I stress this due to the rugged nature of the terrain. Start getting your feet and bodies in a semblance of condition to participate in this event. It will go for 36 hours, in any and all conditions. It could be hot, it could be cool and pleasant, it might rain. Be prepared.

That is it for the first installment. Information will be sent to Coy Commanders, too.

We are three months out as of this morning. Get ready....

This is circulating on Facebook, too. I encourage everyone to read the blog post and go over the impression guidelines to fine tune your impression.

Not long now and we will be in the field.

Still want to attend? We have room on the US side; CS registration is closed indefinitely.

    Drop us a line.

    FORTY ROUNDS!!

          Re: Coordinating Instructions

Five days from now we take to the field.

The time for substitutions and late registrations is past. The event is closed and if you have not registered or you think you are going to crash this event save yourself the trouble. There are ABSOLUTELY NO WALK-ON'S.

Emails are being sent to Coy Commanders. Contact them for the latest updates.

Safe travels and we will see you in a few short days.
