I just got confirmation. The Susquehanna Travellers will be on hand for the weekend! We are excited to have such fine musicians volunteer their time and talents for OBV! We have some of the best musicians in the hobby at this event! Including members of the Camp Chase Fife & Drum and 73rd Ohio band that will be on hand to portray the 138th PA field musicians! It just doesn't get any better! Lets get out an show these fine folks some support!

This living history will portray the town of Bedford PA and the mustering in of the 138th PA in August of 1862. All buildings will be interpreted and several classes will be available. We are holding to strict authenticity guidelines! Meals will be provided to soldiers by Commissary cook, Marc Benedict and Civilians can arrange to purchase excellent meals by Elaine Kessinger.

Co Sponsored by The Button Baron (John Zaharias) and Mac's Sutlery (Bill McIntosh) ALL monies collected will go directly to the village for restoration. Let's support the sites that WANT to have QUALITY reenactors!

Register at johnzaharias.com or come visit us for the day. We look forward to seeing you at Old Bedford Village in Bedford PA on Labor Day Weekend!

Thank you for your support in this event from our staff.
