  • Traveling to Missionary Ridge - See the Sites!

Traveling to the Missionary Ridge Event in November? Get there early and see the sites in Chattanooga! Here is the skinny:

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH - VENDORS, PRESERVATION POKE RAND ON-SITE CAMPING.

Missionary Ridge starts at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 7th. Two of our vendors, South Union Mills and SA Miles & Co. will be on-site and Preservation Poker will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday. You will permitted to camp on-site Thursday night.

    FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH - WETPLATES & VENDORS

On Friday, November 8th, Charleston Tintypist will be on-site in the morning so you can have your wet plate struck with your comrades. The event will go live early Friday afternoon, so get there early!

THERE IS A LOT TO SEE IN THE AREA!

Since we are holding the event so close to the original site, make a mini-vacation out of the event. Whether you have been to Chattanooga or not, there are many places to visit so during your trip, we encourage you to visit all of the great local Civil War sites, including Missionary Ridge, Lookout Mountain, Chickamauga, Orchard Knob, Chattanooga National Cemetery and Brown's Ferry. For more information, go to the NPS web site by clicking here.

If you have been to the Civil War Sites already and just want to hang out, there is a lot to do in Downtown Chattanooga. There are many restaurants, pubs hotels and cool places to kick back. For more information about things to do in Downtown Chattanooga, click here.

This event will encompass three days. We want you to be there if you can by 4:00 PM on Thursday so we can all enjoy Thursday night, and hang out with friends and comrades. We have vendors and activities planned for you. We encourage you to see the sites and make a true road trip out of it.

We look forward to seeing you in November!
