Is it farby to use plastic chanter reeds with your bagpipe??? I know they aren't period-correct, but they stay in tune when moisture is outdoors at an event.

Also, how about a GORTEX bag versus a natural leather one?

Plastic chanter versus a period-correct wooden one?

Help, I am totally lost on how to defarb my bagpipe for Great War!
