Help with my General Pershing impression

I'm 5'3", 260 lbs. and no matter how hard I try I look like Oliver Hardy in "The Flying Deuces". Will heel lifts help or should I switch to a Major George Patton impression as I could use my pistols for my Malicious Marvel Cowboy Action Shooting/ Single Action Shooting Society persona.
All suggestion carefully considered.
