Re: IPW Sock Sale!!! LAST CHANCE!

    Folks,

Just received another shipment of wool socks, so here's what we've got:

(Check out the gold ones on the right!)

Now we are OUT of the undyed cotton socks, we just have a few pairs of the dyed cotton socks left, so I'm introducing...

IPW Package #3: 1 pair wool socks and 1 pair of dyed cotton for $50, or add a second pair of dyed cotton socks for just $5 more or $55 shipped to your door!!!

Supplies are limited, and time is even more limited, but right now the selection is awesome!

Gang - if you don't have at least 3 pairs of good wool (re: correctly made) socks for IPW, you need to grab some quick. Between splashing across creeks and miles of marching, a couple of changes are a basic requirement over 5 days. I carried 4 pairs of excellent wool socks at BGR and was glad I did.

A standard sight during that event were wet socks hanging on the backs of knapsacks to dry as we marched along. Most were a dingy drab color - these W & W socks are much more pleasing in hue :D

I know Dan will back me on this-

Anyone buying all the socks pictured will receive the wooden table beneath the socks as a "stocking stuffer."

Kiev Thomason has agreed to pick up shipping if I remember correctly.

Seriously, get some good-fitting wool socks. Two pairs at a minimum, three would be better. Your mileage may vary but I've had back luck with the cotton jobs getting after my feet. These wool models looks mighty comfy. The dandy colors will be defiled a wee bit after five days in Kisatchie.

I just received a pair of wool socks from Dan and they are superb! The pattern and texture are spot on! Not too thick, not to light, these are the perfect woolies!

So is the sock deal still in effect or has it expired? Interested in getting both wool AND cotton socks. Gotta be prepared for bummers.

                    Re: IPW Sock Sale!!!

                    Robert,

This sale expired on March 1st, but I am thinking about making a permanent combo deal on the wool and cotton socks.

At this moment it's all moot anyway since I haven't had any cotton socks in a month and I'm waiting on a new shipment. So don't be in too much of a hurry. :)
