    BELTS

    1 USB1 U.S. M1861 Belt, Waxed Flesh or Bridal Leather with Buckle (Issued from 1851-1872)
    Belt comes like the belt above; with a hand sewn leather keeper at the one end complete with Early Allegheny Arrow back plate Size 32-40” Waist…………………………………………………………………..$60.


    1 MB1 Militia Web Belt with Early type Brass Plate (1820-1900)Commonly encountered in period pre war and early war images, this belt is made from a correct weave militia web copied from an original in my collection, picked up off of Manassas battlefield.
    The plate itself is a sheet brass, self-adjusting plate, with two tines on the back of the plate that go into the webbing to secure it. The other end has a brass wire keeper for the buckle to be attached.

    1 CS “EGG” Copper Belt Plate with Iron Dyed Belt (1862-65)
    Hand stamped and solders CS “egg” belt plates. Hooks are made from the correct weight Iron Wire as found on originals. Totally hand fabricated as per the originals out of sheet copper, & stamped from a dye made directly from an original example. Belt adjusts from 32”-42”……………………….$50


    1 One of a Kind C.S. Officers Belt, With antique Silvered Chain Sword Hangers/Slings (1861-65)
    This basic militia belt design is based off of 2 different originals & is in general amongst one of the common types of CS officer belts appropriate for the ranks of Lieutenant to Colonel. Belt is made of polished bridal leather, with original 19th century silvered “ladder “ style chain hangers with sword snaps. The belt closes with a 1 Ό “Blued Iron Roller Buckle.

    5 CS or Militia Rectangular Copper Belt plates (1840-1865)Copper belt plates a re hand cut, and finished, with tinned iron wire hooks soldered to the back. A very common plate as found by relic hunters on Civil War Battlefields. Plates of this type can be seen in Confederate Belt Buckles & Plates by Steve Mulinax , and other belt plate reference books.

    RIFLE SLINGS

    1 CSRS1 Confederate Cloth Sling for Rifle-Musket 1862-65)
    This is a one size fits all as per the original. It will fit Springfield, Mississippi Type, Enfield Rifles & Musketoon/Carbine (it is not made to fit the long Enfield). It is made of period machine sewn cotton heavy osnaberg (via the 1851 Wilson Mechanism) with iron adjusting hook hand sewn into place. The sling had a leather strip hand sewn in to place for the adjusting holes, with leather keepers. This is a common item in the CSA found from Tennessee to Virginia…………………………………………..…$35.00

    CANTEEN SLINGS

    5 USCS1 U.S. Leather Canteen Sling, Russet Hand Sewn (1858-1872)
    Replacing the tin drum type canteen. The regulation canteen for the Federal Army just previous to the war became the Model 1858 Tin oblate spheroid canteen. This is the regulation canteen sling that was first issued with this canteen. Made of russet oiled leather5/8” wide and 72” long with a thing gauge iron roller buckle, hand sewn with leather keeper and a “chape” or “safe” sewn behind it………………………………………..$30

    1 CSCS1 Confederate Leather Canteen Sling, Oiled with Brass Buckle (1861-65)
    The Confederate leather sling made of oiled rough side out leather, with brass buckle hand sewn into place. 1”wide. …………………………….$30.

    14 CSCS6 Confederate, Hughes Pendergrass & Snow Web Canteen Sling (1862-65)
    Made by the firm Hughes Pendergrass & Snow for the Confederate government. This sling is seen in Echoes of Glory CS & Silvia & O’Donnell’s Canteen book on C.S. Tin Drum & captured U.S. Canteens. It is made with a leather end piece with a buttonhole punched in it. Hand sewn to the webbing with a leather button sewn to the other end. Simple and effective……………………………………………….………………$25.

    1 CS Ambulance Corps Hat Bands
    These hat bands are copied from the one seen in Echoes of glory on page 127. These are period machine sewn. With “Ambulance Corps” Hand stenciled on the front, from a hand cut stencil.

    These are made to be put on the hat as per the originals were meant to be.

    HAVERSACKS

    2 “Moses Alexander” Haversack with Correct Lead Filled Button (1861-65) Made By Martin Aksentowitz
    Carried by Pvt. M. Alexander from Alabama, this haversack measuring aprox. 11”X 11”, It is 100% Hand Sewn out of a heavy canvas. (It can be seen in Tenting Tonight, Time Life’s, The Civil War, Page 75). It is a strong and sturdy haversack of a common design ………………$10 Off!……$40 ea

    CAPS

    1 CSFC1 Richmond Depot Cap made of County Cloth English Blue Gray Broad Cloth (1862-65)
    Turned out by the Richmond Depot, this cap saw heavy use in the war. It is made of County Cloth dark Blue Gray wool Broad Cloth, & features a oil cloth covered cardboard bill as per the originals. It is made with a painted cloth chin strap and is lined in osnaberg with a hand painted oil cloth sweat band.

    1 CIVT3 Blue Denim Work Trouser, period machine sewn.Trouser is made of heavy indigo dyed denim, with black enameled tin buttons. This particular set of trousers was made for fellows who require a trouser that is more generous fit. Trouser is made with the earlier style stove pipe leg, with a very generous fit. This set of trouser is perfect for those also looking for an over trouser to fit over a nicer set while working or in camp.

    1 ORIGINAL American Watch Co. model 1857 key wind pocket watch, made in 1868.
    Beautiful example of a“every mans” period time piece, this watch keeps very good time for its age. No.16 size case with no dings or dents, interior and movement of the watch has been cleaned and has been serviced. It runs 2-3 minutes slow, but is reliable & adjustable. An excellent addition to an NCO or Officers impression & just a plain cool watch to have in ones collection!
