    *All sack coats were blue(!)

    Many never before published images

Detailed studies of nine original coats

Among others are images of blouses shortened into jackets, collarless sack coats, seven button blouses and even a four pocket blouse!

Re: Reposting: Sack Coat Book Now Available

Every once in awhile a book comes along that ties it all together and is a joy to read - such is this offering by Pat Brown. If you are like me, the sheer volume of coats made and different contracts were hard to get one's arms around. No more, thanks to Pat. It began with Paul Johnson's cartridge box book through Fred Gaede's shelter tent book and others...now we have one for Sack Coats.

      Bully Pat!
