I have finished compiling my event schedule for 2007. Actually, it's not my event schedule, it's the schedules for our good friends and fellow approved vendors, Chris Daley and Maryanne Zilley of EJ Thomas mercantile.
Due to some minor health issues that will be keeping me out of the field this year, these fine folks have offered to take our stuff out to the field and will be serving as our field representatives.
This is actually a wonderful opportunity for us to bring some new items to the cutting table. Look for the following items for 2007.
1. Three new ( for us) varieties of trimmed Peter Tait pattern jackets.
2. The E.F. Barnes (Richmond Howitzers )Richmond Depot Type III Jacket.
3. Charleston Depot Jacket ( Pattern under development)
4. Commutation Jacket documented to Co. G, 11th Va. Inf.
5. Officers fatigue shell jacket, from an original in the MOC.
6. NC Depot (AKA Raleigh Depot) Shell jacket ( we've been making them for five years, but never advertised them)
7. Richmond Depot Type II in English Kersey
8. CS Pattern trousers in English Kersey.
