The Gettysburg Hotel is just one short block south of the Lincoln Diner, right on the town square (the big roundabout in the center of town where all traffic must go on a circular pattern).

                Re: Remembrance Day Weekend 2007

I was curious if anyone knew of or where to find a wet plate photographer in Gettysburg this year for Remembrance Day? I trying to have a plate done while I'm up there of me and a friend who has been diagnosed with "Stage Two" Osteosarcoma cancer.

We have been going up and visiting the battlefield for four years now. And I want him to have something to remember it by.

Rob Gibson had/has a shop in town. It is located beside the Travel Lodge. I am assuming it is still there, it has been since March since I was in town last. You may wish to double check, and due to the weekend, make a reservation for a sitting.

And did I mention that there is an Authentic Vendors Bazaar at the Gettysburg Hotel

Again, we will be offering a tremendous amount of new merchandise including but not limited to:
Tinware; bowls, pie plates, flour sifters, coffee pots and spice tins

                    Footwear; shoes, boots and overshoes
Clothing; shirts, trousers, drawers and knit goods

Plus the many other vendors, as Todd mentioned, will all have a slew of fantastic merchandise.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.

(please remember to also visit the Masonic Widow and Orphan's Fund Table which will be at Gallon Historical Art - there will be many fine items, including food items too!).

                          Folks,

Just wanted to pile on and let you all know that Todd will have about $2,500 worth of my stock on the tables at the show. Lots of unique items that will not or cannot be offered again. There will be a number of CS coats and jackets, trousers, and several US items including a pile of shelter halves. Definitely a good opportunity to grab some items that normally take several months to complete!

                          Best Regards,
