  • Nashville CW Show 12/1 & 12/2

    ALL-

I just wanted to remind all of you who were planning to attend the Middle Tennessee Civil War in show in Nashville this weekend that College Hill Arsenal will be there. I'll be set up in the Vaughn Building (I believe that is Building #1). Show hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday 12/1 and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday. I look forward to seeing many of you there!

I would like detailed info on this show, like where to drive to. I've used the search functions, and cannot seem to get detailed info anywhere. Including Google and places outside these forums.

I just got word I do not have to work this Sat, and would like to come on down and see whats available.

The best link I have found is this one, and the map link shows Georgia, not Nashville: http://www.mikekentshows.net/cw_tenn.asp

That is the right show. They just have the location link wrong. The show is held at the Tennessee State Fair Ground. Here is the address:
        625 Smith Ave
        Nashville, TN 37203

I've been going for many years. It has to be THE largest show in the U.S. I really enjoyed last years auction; but have heard nothing about one this year.

John P. Strain was even there last year signing his paintings in person.

Here are some simple directions, assuming that you can find Nashville and/or I-65 in the Nashville area:

Take the Wedgewood Ave Exit off of I-65. If you were heading South on I-65 you will make a left at the end of the ramp onto Wedgewood. If you were heading North, take a right at the end of the ramp. The Fairgrounds will be about 1/2 mile down Wedgewood on your right. The CW show is spread out amongst about 5 buildings, and there is also a modern gun show and a train show at the Fairgrounds this weekend, so parking that does not involve a forced march will be at a premium!

I look forward to seeing many of you there.
