  • Authentic Vendors in Gettysburg

    Hi,

Does anyone know of any authentic vendors that have stores in Gettysburg? I have looked around, but have only found mainstream stores in the town. I know C.J. Daley has a store in Gettysburg, but he does not have a shelter tent or a gum blanket for sale.Thanks.

    Howdy!

If you are looking for a good shelter half give S & S Sutlers a try. I've dealt with them often and highly recommend them. They are not the "Approved" AC list but have quality goods and are located in Gettysburg.
Go to www.ss-sutler.com and click on products then blankets. It will take you to the shelter tents as well. Give them a call to see if in stock.
By the way C.J. Daley moved to Virginia a while back.

I would also recommend S & S in Gettysburg. I have been satisfied with the items that I have purchased from them. High quality items with great service.

            Hi Andrew,

I would suggest giving them till mid-week before you call them. They are the sutler coordinators for the At High Tide event in Gettysburg and they need to oversee the breakdown of sutler row, the rest of the site and get their gear back to the shop. Just letting you know so you don't get frustrated if you reach an answering machine for a day or two.

Also, they have what you are looking for and will offer you top-flight service. Good luck.

Echoeing what Gerald said...try S&S Sutler of Gettysburg. They retail Federal Shelter tents (varying styles) produced by Andrew Doddington, who does a phenominal job!
