  • Greg Starbuck

I just received an HA model (the kepi with the black piping) that Greg worked up for me. Once again, he has outdone himself. This cap is beautiful. His attention to detail in matching the original is right on. He includes a page with pictures of the original and a short history of the cap. I am extremely pleased.

    Greg ... Thanks again!

I agree, Greg does great work. Just got my copy of the 53rd NC Cap last week, and it is very well done. And a perfect fit, as well!

      Re: Greg Starbuck

Just recieved my USMC Enlisted kepi with rain cover and sun cover from Greg Starbuck. Very nice fit and finish. It did not come with a chin strap buckle so you'll have to specify if it is important to you. Period pictures of the USMC kepi show with and without the chin strap buckle. I'm delighted with my purchase.

Pictures show all three items, with each of the covers on and interior.

Today I came into possession of a Greg Starbuck cap (from this forum) in 5J sumac on brown. Its simply a wonderful hat! I am very pleased to get it and I expect to order one from Greg direct at some point in the future.

          To All,

I received my Sumac Dyed Kepi with French Blue Piping last week. Greg was great to deal with and works quickly. The Kepi is fantastic; truly a work of art. I would recommend that everyone own a Starbuck at some point in the hobby. It is an investment.

Amen. I've got several of greg's caps, including the black piped model mentioned. If Greg had made headgear for the Confederacy, the South would have likely won the war!
