  • Andrew "Abner" Martin AKM Dry Goods-Federal Haversack

I just want to throw out a Bully to Andrew Martin at AKM Dry Goods. I was lucky enough to get one of his Federal Haversacks. I can't wait to give it a try in the field. Mr. Martin's reply to my pm, and subsequent shipment was fast. He has a good product with good service. Thank you.

Very true to my recent experience with Andrew as well - good communication, fast delivery, good product. Can't ask for anything more.

I too would like to jump in here and say that I recently contacted Andrew "Abner" Martin looking for a civilian painted ground cloth. It arrived yesterday - only a couple weeks after ordering it- and I couldn't be more pleased with Abner's product, communication, and service. All were outstanding and his sense of color and design isn't half bad either. I would highly recommend doing business with AKM Drygoods and I am very glad that Abner is back providing his services.
      Well done!

Back in bizness? Sent a PM re: painted groundcloth. Landrum recommended but not holding that against AKM.
Did not find on approved vendor list.

          Just adding to the praise....

I am most sincerely humbled by the kind words, gents, especially those regarding our customer service. My wife and I simply try to treat each customer as we would want to be treated ourselves. Nothing more, nothing less.

Mr. Barry - yes, we're back in operation and we are indeed approved here. We never got added to the AV list through an oversight, but I can't see that we've suffered from it.

I purchased a federal issue haversack from Andrew last week which arrived today. Despite my fiance ingratiously describing it as a "food purse"...It's excellent! I couldn't be more pleased.

Got my painted ground cloth. Excellent quality and workmanship, it is just like I wanted and a fair price, too.
