  • Hats off to Richmond Depot

Gents, we've all experienced the long wait times and ignored emails, phone calls and so on when dealing with the vendors in our hobby. I've waited as long as 2 1/2 years for a sack coat and trousers before. Totally unacceptable, and it's unfortunately what we all have grown to expect in this hobby. Well let me share with you all a breath of fresh air! I recently ordered a double breasted frock and matching trousers from Richmond Depot on Feburary 27th, 2012. I talked with Fenny Haines extensively and only had one photo to share with her in regards to what I wanted in the Frock. Fenny got all of the necessary information from me and told me that she would start my uniform by the first of April and that I wouldn't be charged until she started it. On March 30th I was contacted by Fenny who advised that my uniform was done all except she was waiting on the buttons from her supplier. On April 7th I received my uniform as promised and WOW is all I can say! Fenny is a true example of a professional tailor in that she does what she says and you can count on her to deliver as promised. I only wish the other tailors and vendors would take a look at how Richmond Depot does business. Thank you for your professionalism Richmond Depot!

No secret she sets the gold standard for the Sutler business. I have never heard a complaint about her service or products.

I'm technology challenged! Everytime I try to post pics on here the files are too big. I have a 12.1 Megapixel Cannon that I cannot figure how to down size the files with. I'll be happy to send you some if you are interested. It's an awesome frock! So awesome I don't want to wear it! Hahaha!!!

Hi Eric, I have a 12MB camera too and had the same problem until I finally found the settings I needed and have found that setting a camera to 3MB usually works for most forums. If that doesn't work, try posting the pictures on something like Photobucket (where they can be down-scaled) and then copy them from there.
BTW - I've ordered from Fenny before and found the service to be excellent.

              Hallo!

You can also download to the images to a free on-line hosting site like Photo Bucket. They automatically downsize them.

              Then post them.
